Volunteer Opportunity: Help Regenerate the Land!

Just outside of Golden, nestled in 400 acres of stunning Colorado agricultural land, an exciting opportunity awaits. Join us for Volunteer Days, where you can directly contribute to the regeneration and restoration of this beautiful landscape.

This property, part of the historic Mother Cabrini Shrine, is not only rich in heritage but also a living example of regenerative agriculture—a practice focused on healing land and supporting long-term environmental health.

Our Mission:
With careful research and planning, we’re implementing Holistic Planned Grazing across forty-acre pastures to restore vitality to the soil and surrounding ecosystem. Through Volunteer Days, you can be part of this important work.

Every volunteer day is different, and there’s something for everyone—from simple tasks like flag fence lines for
visibility or picking up trash, to more hands-on activities like repairing perimeter or building interior fencing (install T-posts and step-in posts, run smooth wire, upgrade existing fences with new wire). Whether you’re new to this work or experienced in land stewardship, your contribution matters. For any specialized tasks, we’ll provide on-site training.

The terrain is mountainous—come prepared for Colorado’s natural beauty.

What to Bring:

• Sturdy shoes or boots
• Water
• Hat and sun protection
• A sense of adventure!

Snacks will be provided.

This is a wonderful way to learn about holistic and regenerative land management, connect with like-minded people, and make a real impact in our community and environment.
